APSC Recruitment 2013 – Assistant Engineer Vacancies: Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has issued a recruitment notification for the recruitment of Asst Engineer Posts. Applications are invited for filling up Assistant Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) vacancies in Irrigation Department and Mines & Minerals Department. Organization Name: Assam Public Service Commission (APSC)

Total Number of Vacancies: 26 Posts

Name of the Post:

1. Assistant Engineer (Electrical): 08 Posts
2. Assistant Engineer (Mechanical): 13 Posts
3. Assistant Engineer (Mechanical): 01 Post

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 21 years to 38 years. Age limitations will be considered at 01-01-2013. Age relaxation is applicable as per the Govt. rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess the qualification of BE Degree in concerned discipline from any institute recognized by AICTE for Post for Electrical Engineer posts while for Mechanical Engineer, candidates should be Graduate in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from any University recognized by the Government.

Application Fee: General/ OBC candidates are required to pay Rs. 5/- while SC/ ST category candidates ill have to pay Rs. 2.50/- as application fee for Treasury Challan showing name of post and Department and also full Head of Account ‘Non Tax Revenue-Other Non Tax Revenue-0051-PSC, 102-State Public Service Commission Application/Examination Fee Receipt of A.P.S.C.

Selection Procedure: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in Written examination and Interview.  

Application Form: Candidates firs need to grab the application form from the Issue & Receipt Section of the Assam Public Service Commission, Jawahar Nagar, Khanapara, Guwahati-22 on written requisition addressed to the Deputy Secretary, Assam Public Service Commission stating clearly the name of the post and Department.

How to Apply: All those candidates who wish to apply for Assistant Engineer posts in Assam Public Service Commission, they need to send their duly filled in applications along with recent passport size photograph and self attested photocopies of certificate/ mark sheet from HSLC onwards and also caste certificate/ registration certificate/ experience certificate to the Commission’s Office before 24th December 2013.
